Monday Carter Edition #71~Let Me See Your Tootsie Roll

Monday Carter (who is coming off of a ridiculous sugar high) would like to share her adventures in trick or treating. We went with the assumption that everyone loves a little Halloween candy when coming up with costumes this year. Carter strutted her stuff as a Tootsie Roll...

and Emme was an M & M (get it, she has two M's in her name and she's an M & M, I was feeling pretty clever on that one)...

We had a good lookin' crew (oh, I almost forgot, Nate went all out on his costume this year and dressed up as a fox. He's foxy alright!)...

With empty baskets just waiting to be filled they hit the streets...

It was Emerson's first go at trick or treating, but lucky for us she had Batman to keep her safe...

For Carter, well she's practically a professional, but it still doesn't hurt to have your trusty sidekick Spiderman to hang out with...

Unfortunately their very first house was a bust (as in no one was home)...

But Spidey and his chocolate side kick were not easily deterred and before long they hit the jackpot...

and were raking in the loot...

It's hard to believe that this time next year Emme may be joining in the fun...

For now she was a happy camper being pulled along in her sweet ride...

I could have eaten that little M & M up...

Trick or treating is undoubtedly the game that never gets old and these munchkin's were happy to repeat the act over and over again...

That is until some clever senior citizens decided it was a good idea to let someone spooky hand out their candy...

My chewy little friend wasn't too sure what to think about that...

but I was so glad she left with a smile on her face...

Speaking of smiles, does anyone have a good dentist?? Because all that candy has really taken a toll on Carter's teeth...

It was a great night to spend with friends. I got to hang out with a couple of my favorite girls (and Joel)...

Take 2...

And Emme got to hang out with one of her favorite people Claire...

So blessed to be here in Texas. It makes me happy. So do my munchkin's. The road ahead of them is wide open...

And adventure just waiting to be had...

Speaking of adventure...I'm off to raid Carter's Halloween candy, wish me luck!
