Lately...

Lately we've been eeking out every last drop of Summer fun.  You know the drill it means things like sno cones...

And lazy mornings at home...

We've also had a few of our less favorite moments like dropping daddy off at the airport (that one never goes over well)...

But there's definitely been more good than bad going on...

Like pool dates with friends...

And early morning doughnut runs...

Trophy's have been won...

Game nights have been had...

And then there's the morning when you wake up and say, "WHO WANTS TO GO TO FIESTA TEXAS??!"

That one made us pretty popular parents for the day...

Carter and Nate tackled some legit rollercoasters...

While Emerson and I tackled smaller things...

Family fun was had by all...

And after bonding over excessive sweat and lots of Purell Nate and I had one of those moments as parents where you high five and exchange a glance that says we survived...

Then, since the whole Fiesta thing went so well, we just decided what the heck let's tackle Schlitterbahn too (ok so it wasn't in the same day or anything but still)...

We're crazy like that...

Summer has really pulled through.  You haven't disappointed when it comes to quality time at home...

In fact you've delivered big time Summer and I thank you...

And while I realize the time is coming and we will have to say goodbye (thanks again Kimmi for the back to school shopping spree...you're the best)...

We're not going down without a fight!  We've got one good week left and we're determined to make the most of it...

So c'mon Summer what do ya' say?
