Happy New Year...Happy Birthday!

Happy New Year!  What a wonderful moment.  Ringing in the New Year means fresh starts, renewed perspective, and resolutions.  Who couldn't use a clean slate??  I take full advantage of the opportunity that comes along once every 365 days!


The New Year also just so happens to be the day we celebrate one of my favorite people, Happy Birthday Granny!  You have given me a heart full of childhood memories and those that are much more recent.  You have blessed us so much with your love as a "Granny" and now it is multiplied and passed on to my sweet little girls as a "G.G." It seems appropriate as we enter the new year to reflect a little bit on the old.  This past year has brought us a new home, a new baby and new routine (as in my main man not being absent for months at a time).  We've see our sweet little Emme grow and change over the past 12 months going from the tiniest (well not SO tiny at 9lbs) new born to a smiley, full of energy, waving and making our lives full baby.  Carter has grown and changed too.  2010 marks the year she learned to read, make her own peanut butter and honey sandwich, and unselfishly share the house as she adapted and thrived in the role of big sister.  We leave behind a year of blessings, love, joy and happiness.  We enter into the new one expecting nothing less, after all God has proven He is good.  Happy New Year to you and yours...may it be the sweetest one yet!
